On many occasions we receive calls and requests from sources, columns, marble sinks and chimneys; where they ask for our catalog or use a photo of our website, to ask us for quotes. The first thing we like to clarify is that our company does not have a catalog as such, that is, we do not manufacture from pre-designed models; if not all of our elaborations are made to measure and all the photos that appear on our website are references and examples of previous work. What we do is that from a reference that you can provide us through plans, drawings, photos of some architectural element that you have selected, photos of models that appear on our website, etc; we provide the client with a customized budget taking into account this model and parameters such as: details of measurements, type of material in marble and natural stone, type of finish (polished, honed, aged, ...) and delivery location. On this occasion we manufacture a low center fountain from a model that we had already manufactured before. The main difference lay in the measures requested by the customer and an aspect that affected the final aspect of the source, which was that we were requested that the source incorporated the closed circuit water engine, on the same plate. To hide the engine the only place where we could introduce it was in the jumper (spout) of the source. This meant that we had to make a jumper somewhat larger than that proportionally would have been made according to measures of the plate requested by the customer. The engine was embedded inside the jumper hidden under a lid of the same marble . In this work we are asked to manufacture some feet of tables to measure from some plans with details and measures. The material chosen was macael white marble and polished finish type. This type of work requires great precision to perform the job according to specifications, since the pieces contained a lot of details. Then we leave a gallery of photos with details of the entire manufacturing process from the selection of the blocks to the final result obtained.

In this occasion we manufacture a fireplace in macael white marble and polished finish, from the model provided by the customer of a photo and customizing the measurements according to your requests. Although the model was very simple, the main difficulty was to adapt the model to the measures provided, since these affected the original proportions of the model. Finally we were able to adapt the fireplace to the model provided, although with somewhat different proportions. Another aspect to emphasize is that the original model of the photo is a type of limestone or very similar white, while the macael white marble has grained gray characteristics, which in polished finish stand out even more than in a type apomazado finish. However we always try to select blocks of macael white marble, with the least amount of veining possible. Polishing is achieved by abrasion, passing marble floor by different increasingly fine particle sizes, which give the stone that aspect of "brilliant". Today is mainly used diamond abrasive, which shortens time and get spectacular results, while minimizing the forces working for people and machines with the consequent benefit. With a smooth, polished shiny surface with almost zero porosity, highlighting the maximum level the structure, color and texture of the stone is achieved. In this project we had to proceed with making a couple of feet of polished green marble tables, based on the model currently already had the customer at home. The issue is that one foot suffered a broken and the customer decided that another identical to this but in polished green marble model did, since this material is the hardest that exist in what refers to marbles. Based on this model we started with the manufacturing process, although introducing some improvements over the original as was the thickness of the gusset part and leaving less flight to strengthen the piece. Finally we went to deliver the foot of the customer's table and leave it mounted on the glass in the classroom.
