Cleaning and treatment of outdoor terracotta floor in San Pedro de Alcantara (Marbella)
On this occasion we find an external terracotta floor around a pool, with problems in some areas of saltpeter and especially with wear caused by the use of pressure cleaning machines with water.
As we commented to the customer, we want to emphasize that we do not recommend the use of this type of machines for the cleaning of mud floors, since they work at great pressure that end up to seriously deteriorate the surface of the mud and in many cases reaching to Such a state of wear that the soil becomes sand and is no longer recoverable at all, it being necessary in these extreme cases to replace it.
Luckily in this case the wear was more or less superficial and only in some slabs, so the final result was optimal.
Below we show you pictures of the work done, where we proceeded to first clean the outer terracotta and eradicate the salitres stains, to later apply terracotta treatment to the wet effect.
INITIAL STATE
FINAL RESULT AFTER APPLICATION OF EXTERIOR TREATMENT WITH WET EFFECT THAT INTENSIFIES THE NATURAL COLOR OF THE TILES
